SPECTRUM ROLE FEATURES

The Graphite Ranger is a special type of Silver Ranger that focuses on bringing extra might to the battle when the Power Rangers need it the most. Those chosen to be a Graphite Ranger are often busy individuals who don’t have time to join their allies regularly but can be called upon in certain situations to bolster their ranks or enable them to divide their team without losing their effectiveness.

While the Graphite Ranger isn’t normally part of the team, that doesn’t make them a lone wolf. When a Graphite Ranger arrives, they are fully committed to helping their Ranger teammates. They just tend to fight best when they take on challenges themselves. Usually, a Graphite Ranger diminishes an enemy’s forces by isolating a threat rather than joining their allies as a group.

Grid Equipment

You start with your possessions from your pre-Morphin life and gain the following items from the Morphin Grid. Those marked with an asterisk are only available when Morphed.

It's Morphin' Time!

Starting at 1st level, by summoning the energy within you through your Power Morpher and saying the words “It’s Morphin Time!” as a Standard action, you are enveloped with a stylized shell of Morphin Grid energy that serves as your armor, grants you access to your Power-based weapons, and many other abilities that require Power to activate. While Morphed, the following traits and features apply:

Zords

At (1st or 3rd) level, you have access to a powerful construct of a particular kind based upon the Power Ranger team you are a part of. These are the various Zords, Borgs, and Power vehicles that the Rangers summon to aid them in battle. Rules and statistics surrounding Zords can be found in the section starting on page 131. When piloting this personal Zord, you cannot suffer Snags when using the Driving skill.

Silver Ranger Zords

What shape a Silver Ranger’s Zord takes depends on their Power Ranger Team. Examples of previously chosen Zords are:

Zord Feature

Upon reaching 3rd level, then again at 6th, 10th, 14th, and 17th levels, a Ranger’s connection and proficiency with their Zord has strengthened and evolved to a place where their abilities while using it are stronger and more powerful than ever. Each time this Role Perk is acquired by a White Ranger, they may choose from the list of Zord Features (see page 136 for details) to apply to their personal Zord.

POWER HEAL

One of the first things a Silver Ranger learns is to call on the Morphin Grid to repair their Morphed form in the heat of battle. At 1st level, you can spend Personal Power as a Free action to heal yourself for 1 Health per point of Personal Power spent. The amount of Health recovered per point of Personal Power spent using this Role Perk increases to 2 Health at 7th level and finally to 4 Health at 13th level.

Fight Me!

At 2nd level, the Graphite Ranger learns how to provoke a Threat to focus on them. During combat, you may choose a Threat that you can see. This Threat suffers ↓1 on Attack Skill Tests against any target other than yourself.

You may only use this Perk against one Threat at a time, but you may change which Threat this applies to at the end of each of your turns.

GRID SURGE

Upon reaching 2nd level, you learn how to channel Grid energies to create something helpful directly into your hands. As a Standard action while Morphed, you can activate a Grid Surge as many times per day as shown in Table 2–12: Silver Ranger. You may choose one of these four effects each time you activate this perk.

BRUTE FORCE

Starting at 3rd level, you can call upon the Grid to boost your Power Weapon Attacks. As a Free action, you may spend two Personal Power to activate this Perk. While active, you inflict an additional point of Blunt damage with each Power Weapon Attack as you summon Grid manifestations (such as Prince Phillip’s spiked wrecking balls) to strike the foe in time with your attacks. This bonus Blunt damage increases to two points at 10th level and three at 17th level.

You may forego one point of extra damage to instead cause the target hit to suffer Snag on their Skill Tests against anyone but you until the start of your next turn.

GENERAL PERK

When you reach 4th Level, and again at 8th, 12th, 16th, and 19th Level, you can personalize your Ranger by adding a General Perk for which you meet the prerequisites.

Extra Attack

Beginning at 5th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. The number of attacks increases to three when you reach 13th level. This Role Perk only functions while Morphed and fighting as an individual.

GRID POWER

First upon reaching 6th Level, then again at 11th and 16th Levels, you expand your understanding and connection to the Morphin Grid. Each time you acquire this Role Perk, choose a Grid Power for which you meet the requirements to add to your Ranger.

Duty of the Graphite

At 7th level, the Graphite Ranger learns to open themselves to the flow of the Morphin Grid to travel where needed most. You can spend one of your Grid Surges and 2 Personal Power to instantly teleport to the closest concentration of Power Rangers on that dimension or timeline. When you arrive, you may choose one enemy you can see and make a Social Skill Test against their Cleverness. If successful, that enemy gains the Blinded Condition against all of your allies as they focus on battling you head-on.

Power Adaptation

At 9th level, and then again at 18th level, your Morphed form evolves in new ways. Choose one of the following improvements on Table 2–13: Power Adaptations to your Morphed form; each requires Personal Power to activate.

NAME COST EFFECT
Boost of Speed 1 Personal Power Increase Movement by 20 feet for 1d6 Minutes
Crushing Strength 1 Personal Power Gain ↑2 to all Athletics and Brawn Skill Tests for 1d6 minutes
Striking Hands 1 Personal Power Gain ↑1 to your unarmed Attacks for 1d6 minutes
Fast Trigger 2 Personal Power Make one additional ranged attack per action for the next 1d6 combat rounds
Regenerating Shell 2 Personal Power Restore 1 Health at the end of each of your turns for 1d6 turns

SILVER RANGER PRIME

At 20th level, you have become the most advanced version possible of your team’s Silver Ranger. Your Morphed form immediately gains the following benefits:
